London Fog is one of those drinks that gives me nothing but cozy vibes!
A cable knit sweater, a good novel or paper and a London Fog is sometimes all you need!🖤💫

The London Fog is rumored to have been invented by. pregnant woman in the 1990’s. I believe the story goes like this…she orders this at a local cafe in Vancouver, then orders the same thing at other cafes that she frequented and somehow started a trend. Other names for it are Earl Grey Latte & Vanilla Tea Misto.
Since its creation, numerous cafes and coffee houses have been known to claim London Fog as their own formulation. Who knows really! All I know is that its magnificent and I’m glad that someone came up with this brilliant simple drink!
Earl Grey Tea itself has a unique taste. it is a black tea, flavored with oil of Bergamot. The oil is produced from the cells inside of the rind of a bergamot orange. Bergamot is a very common note in perfumes.
The citrus fruit primarily grown in Southern Italy is rich in flavonoids-promoting good heart health and supporting a healthy immune system. It has been said to lower blood glucose, reduce inflammation and as mentioned before promotes heart health that helps prevent cardiovascular disease.
How I make my London Fog:
Earl Grey Tea
Splash of Vanilla Syrup
Steamed cream infused with lavender extract (I also frothed it)
Dried lavender
Fresh lavender
You can use any milk/cream that you like. Also, I rarely measure!
